Pet Urine and Pet hair/dander contamination treatments.
All carpet and upholstery we clean is deodorized at absolutely no charge. And even though the deodorizer treatments we use are powerful odor killing enzymes, sometimes just a simple clean and deodorize treatment won't eliminate pet odors caused by urine, dander, and hair. Pet stain odor is a very common problem that could be much more complex than on first impression. Pet urine can easily soak through the backing of the carpet and into the padding underneath. In more severe cases the urine can penetrate into the sub-floor beneath the padding, this creates a problem that is multi-layered, and to remove the odor, each layers needs to be treated.
The urine also provides for the growth of bacteria. This in turn contributes to a worsening of the odor problem and can contribute to permanent color loss of the carpet fiber. To eliminate this problem, the urine must be removed and neutralized from each of the layers affected. If the contamination is limited to only the face yarn of the carpet then the cleaning itself may effectively remove the odor. In more severe case where urine has penetrated the carpet padding we can provide a proprietary service called a "TURBO PET FLUSH." This process consists of An effective all-in-one formulation that completely removes pet urine salts, odors and stains. One application of our TURBO PET FLUSH does it all! This unique breakthrough solution combines oxidizers with enzymes and odor encapsulants to remove even the toughest pet urine issues. Effective on virtually any surface, including hard porous surfaces. Our pet flush unlike others can cover the entire carpet at once instead of simply a spot at a time. If an entire room is contaminated with pet urine RMIS and our TURBO PET FLUSH is the only true method to remove and eradicate the issue without replacement of your floor coverings.
Carpet Fiber Protection
A great way to keep the carpet cleaner, for longer is to have it treated with carpet protection. All carpet when manufactured has a protective coating applied. Eventually this wears away and it's left with no repellency. As your carpet starts to age you lose protection because the protective coating that acts as an invisible shield will wear away. This coating is commonly referred to as “Scotch Guarding or Teflon.” This phrase is just a household brand or nickname consumers are familiar with. It’s a good idea to have this re applied after professionally cleaning the carpet because it will repel wet and dry soils, and the scotch guarding applied during the manufacturing process will only last so long. We apply this through a pressurized water line after the cleaning is completely finished. This is charged per sf and applied only to the areas that you request. This is not an all-or-nothing service. You can have it applied in one room, or all rooms.
ODOR Remediation and Removal
RMIS utilizes THERMAL FOGGING for malodor remediation and removal. Thermal fogging is an effective smoke, protein, malodor, and decomposition odor removal procedure because it recreates a fires related properties of heat and pressurization. Porous material pick up thermally activated counteractant droplets in the same manner in which they picked up the smoke odors, closely duplicating what occurs during a fire. Thermal fogging is the generation of ultra-fine droplets in a range of 1-50 ppm using thermo- pneumatic energy. Liquid substances are vaporized and form ultra-fine aerosols by condensing on contact with cool ambient air, on being ejected, to create dense visible smoke and fog-clouds. This is a superior and preferred method of odor removal widely used in the disaster restoration industry.
